Patent exposure of Porsche flying car: vertical take off and landing two seat layout

As a world-famous high-end sports car manufacturer, Porsche is no longer satisfied with “just making cars”. A few days ago, it was reported that Porsche has submitted a patent on electric aircraft to the patent office. Not long ago, Boeing, the aircraft manufacturer, said it was working with the car manufacturer, Porsche, to develop a concept electric flying car capable of transporting passengers in the city. The patent exposed this time may be a flying car that will be jointly manufactured by Porsche and Boeing.

According to the patent map exposed, this aircraft has VTOL (vertical take-off and landing) capability, and four large propellers can provide the main force for the aircraft. Two of the propellers can be turned down to provide propulsion, so that the vehicle can be detached from the ground like a fighter plane and can hold two people.

The patent also mentions that the aircraft will be powered by pure electricity, which can use multiple fans of different sizes to drive the aircraft instead of a freely moving rotor.

In fact, in recent years, the major automobile enterprises have been exploring the air plane. Hyundai and Uber Co., Ltd. plan to launch air taxi, and Chinese brand Geely also has a lot of research in this field.
